It is the summer season here in Grand Haven, MI and this July has been a “HOT” one. With seasonal temperatures at or above 80 degrees and the sun just blaring down with seemingly no remorse. Nevertheless, this summer weather brings us the perfect atmosphere for our Church Family Annual Picnic for 2024.
This year the picnic will be held on Saturday, July 27th at noon at the Pottawatomie Park in Grand Haven Twp.
The park offers many amenities including, playgrounds, swimming, volleyball, horseshoes, shelters, bathrooms, boardwalks, bicycle trails, soccer field, baseball diamonds, boat launch, kayak launch, fishing pier and more. This year we have reserved Shelter 1 for our food area.
We are encouraging everyone to please wear your navy-blue Grand Haven COG t-shirts, both for identification and also for a large group photo at the event. We will have some extra t-shirts available for purchase during the picnic. This is going to be a great afternoon of fun and fellowship for our GRAND church family. Can’t wait to see you there.
