Purpose of Spiritual Dreams

PURPOSE OF DREAMS

The Old Testament Pentecostal prophet Joel said in the latter days God will pour out His Spirit and Spiritual revelation will come to Gods people through the channel of dreams.

Because dreams have a purpose — and they are much more significant than we realize.

The first step in Joseph’s rule in Egypt began with a dream. Dreams unlock our purpose for the future and give us the ability to see the future through God’s eyes. Joseph’s brothers tried to stop his dream from coming to fruition but couldn’t..because God had already spoken.

Jacob, Joseph’s father, immediately knew the meaning of the dream. It takes a father to understand your dreams. Dreams are for sons and daughters. Dreams will bypass our experiences of what we think we know and what we have learned in the natural, and reveal to us what’s true in the spiritual. God chooses to use dreams and visions to cut through agendas of the heart that can cause us to miss out on the valuable things that the Holy Spirit wants to communicate to us.

Ministry purpose is formed through dreams. We are led into a greater tomorrow by the dreams revealed today. The significance of receiving divine direction cannot be underestimated. To flow in the latter days gift of spiritual dreams is to operate in the foreknowledge of purpose. Ask God for spiritual dreams and Thank Him in advance for revelation from the Spirit.

Prayer Scripture:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9

“Dear Lord,
Thank you for releasing your plan and your purpose over my life through dreams. I receive your blessings, direction, and insight for my life in my dreams. I come against the enemy and his schemes to torment and bring nightmares in the night.
Let your blessings be released in my life. I humble myself and ask for your direction. My thoughts are not your thoughts. Your ways are not my ways. I will not walk in my ways and my plans, but yours and yours alone. I declare that I will not be delayed or denied from your purpose.
Thank you, Lord, for releasing your blessings and giving me insight into the future for my life, my family, and my callings. This is your set time for my life and I will dwell in the good land. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
